2 year olds are SO busy and fun! Perry has always been somewhat of a slow-moving, low-energy boy, but not anymore. I swear, the week he turned 2, something changed. Now, he is either running around or running his mouth. He is "talking" all the time. He has long conversations with us and although we usually don't know what he is saying, he speaks with conviction. It's really cute to hear him gibbering away and I always wonder what he is saying when he goes on and on. I'm realizing that Perry has a great memory. He remembers the places we go and what we did there, and if you do something a particular way with him, you better be prepared to do it that same way again. I'm constantly amazed at his understanding and intellect. Right now Perry is really into cars, choo-choo's, and all things with wheels. He's the classic 2 year old boy. He pushes his cars all over the house--on the walls, doors, furniture, and occasionally the floor. He still loves to play chase. I think he would run around saying "boo" all day long if we played along. There are definitely moments and days of bad behavior, but overall Perry is such a happy and pleasant kid. He brings so much joy to us and is truly the greatest gift. Alex and I are so thankful for his precious little life...even with all its 2 year old challenges.
