26 weeks
24 weeks
A few pregnancy memories:
--We waited until I was about 13 weeks to share with Perry and Mills that I was pregnant. I knew once we told Perry, anyone could potentially find out, so I wanted to wait until I was ready for that! I will never forget Perry's reaction to the news. We sat him down and told him we wanted to tell him something important. He was all ears and even looked a little concerned. I said "Perry, Mommy went to the doctor and found out why my tummy has been hurting so much." (b/c he knew how sick I had been and was always telling me "Mommy, I'm sorry you don't feel good." How sweet is he?!?) He said "WHY?" When I told him it's because I have a baby in my tummy, his eyes got sooooo big and he immediately gasped, then smiled. It was one of the most special moments. I loved how excited and truly amazed he was. He had been asking for another baby, and occasionally praying about it, so I know it was special to him too.

--Early on, Perry was asking lots of questions about how the baby got in my tummy and how it will get out. The funniest/cutest was how concerned he was that the baby would "break me open." I guess he was envisioning the baby just busting out of my tummy. I did my best to explain that God made mommies with a special passageway for baby to come out, but he didn't accept that since he "couldn't see it." I ended up telling him the doctor will handle it all and it will be ok!
--Perry and Mills both love talking to the baby and giving my tummy kisses.
